Windows 10, like its predecessor Windows 8 comes with a very basic screenshot functionality that allows you to capture a full screen high resolution image of whatever is on your screen. To take a screenshot, press the 'Win+Print Screen' keys and the screen will flash a dull gray and your screenshot will be saved to a Screenshots folder in the Pictures library. To change where the screenshots are saved to, simply follow these steps:
1. Create a folder named 'Screenshots' where you want
to save the screenshots to
2. Go to the Pictures library then right-click on the
Screenshots folder
3. Select 'Properties' for the context menu
4. Click on the 'Location' tab then click on 'Move'
5. Browse to the location where you created the Screenshots folder
6. Click 'Apply' to save your changes
Note: The reason you need to create the Screenshots folder is because when you change the location of the folder, Windows doesn't move the folder itself but the files in it. If you were to select a folder that contained other files, this would cause problems. With a special dedicated folder for saving screenshots, you can go back and edit its location any time without affecting any other files.
